Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's !'Rajasthan Desert Tour ' On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Overnight :Hotel Day 02: Delhi This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Delhi. Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel. Day 03 Delhi-Mandawa Drive to Mandawa and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Visit Mandawa Afternoon visit Mandawa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum. A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families of the country. Overnight: Hotel Day 04 : Mandawa-Bikaner This morning we drive to Bikaner and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. Long before this, the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner’s dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. Overnight: Hotel Day 05 : Bikaner-Jaisalmer This morning after breafast at the hotel, we drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival at Jaislamer, checkin at a prebooked hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight: Hotel Day 06 : Jaisalmer Morning sightseeing tour City tour of Jaisalmer. The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world. (This is the highlight of the tour) See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gandhi Sagar Tank. Also visit Barabagh Hill. Optional:- Camel Safari (Half way Jeep and Half way Camel Safari) Overnight :Hotel Day 07: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur Drive to Jodhpur, en-route visit Mandore, on arrival in Jodhpur check in at Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight :Hotel Day 08: Jodhpur This morning later proceed for the sightseeing of Jodhpur. City tour of Jodhpur Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens. Evening village safari by Jeep. Overnight :Hotel Day 09:Jodhpur - Pushkar Drive to Pushkar, en-route visit to Elkingi, Nagda and Nathdawara, on arrival in Pushkar check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at your own pace. Overnight :Hotel Day 10:Pushkar Visit Pushkar Pushkar happens to be the holiest places according to the Hindus as it is considered that Lord Brahma (the Creator) and his wife Saraswati (the godess of learning and music) performed a ritual in the lake. Here we visit the only Brahma temple, before intermingling with the local colours in the local bazaar.thereafter drive to Jaipur. Overnight :Hotel Day 11: Pushkar- Jaipur This monring after breakfast we proceed to Jaipur, and on arrival check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight :Hotel Day 12 :Jaipur City tour of Jaipur This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort. Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur Overnight :Hotel Day13: Jaipur - Sariska This morning drive to Sariska Sanctuary and explore the variant and rare species of birds and animals. Overnight :Hotel Day 14: Sariska - Fatehpur Sikri- Agra Morning, drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri : The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition ... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of it's grandeur. Also visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world Overnight :Hote Day 15: Agra- Delhi Morning visit the Taj during sunrise. Later return back to the hotel for breakfast Visit the Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula.
