Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's 'Golden Triangle With Kerala Back waters Tour'! On arrival in Delhi , you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Half day City tour of New Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Half day City tour of Old Delhi Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel Day 02 Delhi-Agra This morning, drive to the romantic 'city of Taj Mahal' - Agra! and transfer to hotel. City tour of Agra (Closed Friday) On arrival, you will proceed on a city tour of Taj. Visit Taj Mahal, Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop! Optional: Later in the evening why not take the option of watching Sound & Light show. Later return to your hotel for a good night’s rest Overnight: Hotel Day 03 Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur Today you drive to the former capital city of Emperor Akbar Your exciting day begins with a tour, starting with a visit to Fatehpur Sikri. Then continue onward to Jaipur and check into your hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 04 Jaipur City tour of Jaipur This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort. Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Overnight: Hotel Day 05 Jaipur-Delhi-Cochin After breakfast drive to Delhi airport for flight to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 06 Cochin City tour of Cochin Visit the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church. Also visit the Hill Palace Museum which displays articles of archeological importance. Overnight: Hotel Day 07 Cochin-Munnar After breakfast drive down to Munnar and transfer to hotel. City tour of Munnar Visit Mattupetti Dam, Indi-Swiss Project, Echo Point, Kundala Lake. Overnight: Hotel Day 08 Munnar-Periyar This morning you drive to Periyar and transfer to hotel. Boat cruise on the lake of the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Periyar-an ariticial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is in the heart of the Wildlife sanctuary. Wild Elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even tigers come to shores of the lake to drink. Return to hotel for breakfast. Thereafter drive through the winding "Ghats" kind with prosperous tea plantations & then arrive the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy field to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater willage on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake, crises crossed with meandering waterways and ancient cottages. Overnight: Hotel Day 09 Periyar-Alleppey (Houseboat) After breakfast drive to Alleppey. Boat Cruise on the backwaters, which gives an opportunity to behold the great charm of this city that nature has endowed upon it. Overnight: HouseBoat Day 10 Kumarakom-Kollam Today you drive to Thangasseri Start of inland waterways, ruins of forts, Palaces, boating etc. On to Kollam Then continue onward to Kollam and transfer to hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 11 Kollam-Kovalam After breakfast drive to Kovalam and transfer to hotel. Kovalam sea beach is the best in India and second in the world. If you want peace of mind and quiet atmosphere come and stay at Kovalam. You will get them all and more than you expectation. The sea is calm & quiet here, the shape is like a bow and it has been formed as an estuary. It is a silver coloured beach, with small ripples and excellent for sea bath. Whole atmosphere is a hilly one and shaded with papaya, banana and coconut. In Kovalam, there are innumerable palm tree. Under the dazzing blue the whole beach is covered by shade of trees. The water of the sea is also blue there. Today Kovalam is widely acclaimed in the world. Kovalam is also famous for sun bath. Overnight: Hotel Day 12 Kovalam Full day at leisure at Kovalam Beach. Overnight: Hotel Day 13 Kovalam Full day excursion to Kanyakumari Kanyakumari is the confluence of three seas - Bay of Bengal, Arabian Ocean & Indian Ocean. It is an important pilgrim centre of India is famous for Amman Temple – a symbol of unity and sanctity dedicated to the virgin goddess, Kanyakumari. To its South East lies the famous Vivekananda rock memorial, a blend of all architectural styles of India. Late evening proceed to Trivendrum and transfer to hotel.
