Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's 'Golden Triangle Vacation Tour ' On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day 02 : Arrival Delhi - Jaipur This morning after breakfast at the hotel we proceed for a half day city tour of New Delhi. Half day City tour of New Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Afternoon, leave for Jaipur. Overnight at hotel Day 03 : Jaipur After a leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort, the one that cannot be easily described. You ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Post lunch tour of the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal. This elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneakily view the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Later also visit Birla Mandir - a unique monument with exquisite marble carvings. Optional Tour : In the evening enjoy your dinner at Chokhi dani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have an idea of the village life of Rajasthan. Also enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other interesting activities. Overnight at hotel. Day 04 : Jaipur - Agra After breakfast drive to the city of Taj - Agra, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. Evening visit the magnificent Taj Mahal during sunset. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Overnight at hotel Day 05 : Agra After breakfast visit Agra Fort. A hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates. Post lunch tour of Itmad-Ud-Dullah's tomb, or the 'Baby Taj'. Less visited but much admired, it bears striking mosaics inlaid with sparkling stones. Overnight at hotel. Day 06 : Agra - Delhi Leave for Delhi early in the morning Later in the afternoon visit Old Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
