Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's Rajasthan Cultural Tour ' On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 02 : Delhi This morning after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi. Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (Pink City - visit to the Amber fort) Early morning Leave for Jaipur . On Arrival at Jaipur (built in 1727 A.D) Meet and Transfer to the hotel. We start the full day sight seeing tour of Jaipur - The pink city. Firt on the line is the Amber fort, on the way we have a look at the Hawamahal (Palace of winds built in 1799 A.D), then we proceed to the Jaigarh fort (the biggest cannon in India is here). In afternoon we proceed to the City palace (museum) & Jantar Mantar (a stone observatory). We end our day by visiting some of the walled city bazaars, etc. Overnight at hotel. Day 04 : Jaipur (Sanganer & Bagru) Today on our itinerary is an excursion to Sanganer town (12 kms) & Bagru (35 kms). Sanganer is famous for its crafts industry & finest block printed textiles. On the other hand Bagru is noted for its hand printed handloom using simple techniques. We reach Jaipur back by late evening. Overnight at hotel. Day 05 : Jaipur - Mandawa After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Mandawa (The crown of Shekhawati region). Late afternoon we reach Mandawa (founded in 18th century A.D). After reaching here we relax for the day. Overnight at hotel. Day 06 : Mandawa After breakfast we start our sight seeing of Mandawa. Visit Mandawa Afternoon visit Mandawa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum. A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families of the country. Overnight at hotel. Day 07 : Shekhawati After an early breakfast at the hotel, we leave for an excursion to Ratangarh & Nawalgarh. Sight seeing of the frescoland - Shekhawati Haveli's & the local market. Feast your eyes on the exotic frescoes that adorn the exquisitely carved havelis of Shekhawati in Rajasthan, India. Come back to the hotel in Mandawa Overnight at hotel. Day 08: Shekhawati An exciting start to our trip this morning, we leave for excursion to Fatehpur. Sight seeing of the frescoland - Shekhawati Haveli's & the local market. In late evening we return back to Mandawa for night stay. Overnight at hotel. Day 09 : Shekhawati - Jaipur An early morning drive sets us off for Jaipur. By evening we return back to Jaipur. Optional Tour : Royal Dinner & cultural evening at Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort.. Overnight at hotel Day 10: Jaipur - Delhi This morning after breakfast, we drive to Delhi's International Aiport to board the flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of Rajasthan Cultural Tour escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
