Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's !'Rajasthan Colourful Tour ' On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Overnight : Hotel Day 02 New Delhi This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Delhi. Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel Day 03 Delhi-Mandawa Drive to Mandawa and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Havelies in Shekhawati Region. Visit Mandawa Afternoon visit Mandawa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum. A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families of the country. Overnight: Hotel Day 04 : Mandawa-Bikaner This morning we drive to Bikaner and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Visit Bikaner Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. Long before this, the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaners dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. Overnight: Hotel Day 05 : Bikaner Morning visit Deshnoke Temple Afternoon visit Camel Breeding Farm. Rest of the day at leisure Overnight: Hotel Day 06 : Bikaner-Jaisalmer This morning after breafast at the hotel, we drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival at Jaislamer, checkin at a prebooked hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight: Hotel Day 07 : Jaisalmer Morning sightseeing tour Afternoon visit Sam Dunes with camel ride. City tour of Jaisalmer Visit to sand dunes. Visit the famous forts & Havelies. Optional:- Camel Safari (Half way Jeep and Half way Camel Safari) Overnight :Hotel Day 08: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur Drive to Jodhpur and on arrival, check-in at the hotel City tour of Jodhpur Later proceed for the sightseeing of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens. Overnight: Hotel Day 09 : Jodhpur-Kumbhalgarh Drive to Kumbhalgarh and check-in at the hotel Kumbhalgarh Fort Kumbhalgarh Fort stands a wary sentinel to the past glory of its kings and princes. Rising from a prominent ridge, 1,914 m above the sea level, the fort was built in 15th century AD by Maharana Kumbha (1419-63 AD) and is the principal fort after Chittaurgarh Fort.. Overnight: Hotel Day10: Kumbhalgarh - Ranakpur Jain Temples - Udaipur This morning after breakfast, drive to Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum) Boat curise on Lake Pichola(Optional ) 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments Overnight: Hotel Day 12 : Udaipur - Chitorgarh - Kota After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Kota. Visit Chittorgarh Fort. Located beside a high hill near the Gambheri River, the magnificent fort of Chittorgarh echos the saga of valor, gallantry, sacrifice and royalty of the city. One of the most fiercely contested seats of power in India, Bappa Rawal, the legendary founder of the Sisodia dynasty, received Chittor in the middle of the eighth century, as part of the last Solanki princess's dowry. Earlier, known as Chitrakut, after a local Rajput chieftain named Chitrang, the city is spread over an area of 700 acres, with its forts, towers, temples and palaces. Rana Kumbha (1433-68), Rana Sanga (reigned 1509-27) and Maharana Pratap (reigned 1572-97) were the proud sons of this land. Overnight: Hotel Day 14 Ranthambhore - Jaipur Morning and afternoon game view Later drive to Jaipur and check-in at the hotel Overnight: Hotel Day 15 :Jaipur This morning proceed on a city tour of Jaipur City tour of Jaipur This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort - which is set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. We will ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant. Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory - The Solar Observatory - an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that give accurate predictions till date. The City Palace reflects a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.
